Dar as-Sunnah's abridged English edition of Sifat Salat al-Nabi, the work of the hadith scholar Muhammad Nasir al-Din al-Albani. Al-Albani explained that he had not come across a book covering the prayer comprehensively, so he felt obliged to produce one collecting together as many features of the Prophet's prayer as possible, from the takbir that opens it to the taslim that ends it. He held throughout to a strict principle of adhering only to the authentic Sunnah, and said plainly how difficult that had been to keep to. Each posture, recitation and supplication is given with its evidence, which is what turned the Arabic original into a study text rather than a manual. This edition runs to 175 pages and is meant to be carried while the prayer is being learned or corrected.
