Muslimsk Studentsamfunn (MSS), a student society at the University of Oslo, is responsible for this site and for the data it holds. Contact us at post@muslimskstudent.no.

Necessary cookies keep you signed in. Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them, and cover usage statistics, heatmaps, session recordings and reports of errors the site runs into. If you decline, none are set and no analytics tool is loaded. We use no advertising cookies.

Your name, email address and membership status, received from majmio when you sign in. If you book as a guest, the name and email address you type in. What you book, whether you attended, and your answers to the questions an event asks, such as which section you will sit in or what you can eat. What you borrow from the library and when you return it. Anonymous usage data, if you have accepted analytics.

Some answers are kept on your member account so you do not type them twice. Brother or sister, your year of birth, your allergies and the other answers about you on a booking form. Allergies are health data. We keep them so the next booking is already filled in, and the booking form says so where you answer. Under Your membership you can see everything we hold and clear all of it in one press. Clearing it stops us keeping it.

If you tick "Email me about upcoming events", your name and address go on our announcements list until you unsubscribe, which every mail lets you do in one click.

When you book, or a volunteer checks you in at a door, the address the device connects from is logged so we can stop abuse of those forms.

Payments for tickets, and donations, are handled by Vipps on their own pages. We receive a payment reference, the amount and whether it went through, and we keep those with the booking so we can issue the ticket, refund it, and account for the money. We do not receive card or account details.

To run membership, events and the library, to answer you, and to improve the site. Most of it we need in order to do what you asked for: a booking needs a name, a loan needs a borrower. Analytics and the announcements list rest on your consent, and you can withdraw it as easily as you gave it. The answers we keep on your account rest on your membership, and you end that part of it by clearing them.

You may ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to us and we will answer within a month. You may also complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority.

We update this page when our handling changes. The date above is when it last changed.
